one missed call
Last sunday night while I was watching Basic Instinct II w/ my friends my phone suddenly rang in the middle of the movie. I checked to see who’s calling & to my utter annoyance I found out it was my ex. I’ve already deleted his no. but I got it memorized hehehe I’ve been trying to un-memorize it but I can’t. I’m thankful for my sharp memory but there are just times that I wish I have a selective memory. Anyways, back to the missed call, I decided to do—nothing! I can’t deny though that it triggered a lot of questions in my mind and awakened barely buried feelings in my heart (EW!). What does he want? Why call? Is he happy? Does he miss me? Did he have regrets? Does he want me back? And gazillion other questions nagging at me. But luckily a still sane part of me intervened…“Reality check Flo! Do you remember what an asshole he was!? “ YUP! So, I’ll stand firm with my resolution of ignoring him. But how can you tell someone who’s dumb, stupid and dense e.g. my ex that you’re purposely ignoring him? Tsk..tsk..tsk…what a predicament!
Near Ghost Experience
April 3, 2006I confess . . .I’m a wimp. A scaredy-cat. A sissy or whatever you might wanna people who are easily scared. I’m afraid of the dark. I can’t sleep without a light on. I look underneath my bed before I sleep to check for boogeymen.I’m afraid of ghost and other unworldly things though I haven’t seen one yet and have no wish whatsoever to see one. I hate horror movies but sometimes I convince myself that I can overcome my fear. One time I bravely accompanied my friend to watch Blairwitch Project and the night ended with me having to sleep with my parents because I was too damn scared to sleep. I also watched Sixth Sense and I didn’t get scared,ha! But I couldn’t remember anything about the movie either. I think the fact that my eyes and my ears were both covered while watching the movie has something to do with it. I guess that’s the last horror movie I saw…way back in 199.After that I didn’t dare watch any horror or suspense movie ,TV shows esp. MGB all souls day episodes.
