another near ghost experience
June 3, 2006Last Thursday we were having our field works at a plantation office in Calinan. I was updating my report on MS Excel, when a word preceded by dots suddenly appeared on the screen:
. . . . . please
I thought I accidentally pressed some keys so I pressed the ESC key and went on with my work. Another set of words appeared on another cell:
. . . . a little bit more time
I was feeling a bit scared so I just save my worked and beckoned my officemate to come near. I told her what happened and we both stared at the computer screen for sometime when this word appeared:
. . . . and
We both looked at each other and I automatically closed the file and shut down the PC.
What was that all about? At first I thought it was some sort of malfunction or some kind of virus. My officemate however have another theory. She said maybe some sort of spirit wants to send a message.I don’t want to believe her so for my peace of mind I asked the employees there if there were occurences of any paranormal incidents in their office. They replied yes and told me that their building was constructed way back in 1970’s and was just renovated recently. It was even abandoned for three years. On top of that there was a story about star-crossed lovers (their very own version of Romeo and Juliet) who committed suicide in that building. Those who works overtime usually hear some unexplained noises and see shadows of a man and a woman.
Ergo, It must have been all in my mind coz the alternative is just not acceptable. No way.
