art of lurking

I guess it’s second nature to all bloggers to hop around the blogosphere. Every time I hop I have this dilemma whether to leave traces of myself or not. Should I comment or not? Leave a message on the Tagbox or not? If I don’t like the blog then I won’t bother. If I really like the blog then I leave traces of myself. If I really, really like the blog I just simply lurk or stalk but lurking sounds more healthy . I would check the blog daily for new updates, sometimes even three times a day depending on how bored I am. Those on my blogroll are exempted coz I really make it a point to leave comments on their new post and sometimes I mistake those comment boxes for chatrooms hehehe Anyways, back to my lurking. I like to lurk these blogs because they have no site meters and I can read their blog whole day without feeling exposed or alarming the owner by the time I spend reading their thoughts.

I’d like to share some of the blogs that I lurk for one reason or another which I think aren’t that visited yet. They’re all from I.PH by the way.

1. Nygel and Niles

Their blog is like a breath of fresh air amidst all the negative energies coming from the blogosphere. They are two Filipino kids now residing in Singapore. Their mom and dad also blog. Isn’t that cute? A family of bloggers

If I have a kid I’ll teach him to blog and I bet his first entry would be something like this:

2. Adinfinitum

I feel like reading Catcher in The Rye whenever I read this blog coz this blogger reminds me so much of Holden Caulfield. Witty and wry humor.

3. Verity

I like his way with words and I find his posts and nuggets of thoughts poignant and original. I esp. like the fact that he didn’t respond to my tag hahaha not that he’s the first coz it means he’s not writing to please or something like that. He’s writing for writing’s sake. I like that. My motto is “The more you ignore me the closer I get” LOLS I also lurk some of the more popular blogs like:
