Popsicle

Friends, blogmates, lurkers, lost netizens directed here by Google…I need help! I’ve been looking for the Popsicle albums (Abstinence and other albums) since time immemorial. Don’t know the band Popsicle? Oh go get a life j/k :-p It’s an alternative band from Sweden that was popular at my side of the planet during 90’s. I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of their famous songs; Histrionics “Leave me locked and leave me lame” and Not forever “Coz I can change, am not the same, not forever” I guess they’re not really that popular coz I even had a hard time looking for info about the group. Anyways, I’ve searched for their CDs at all record bars I’ve visited but to no avail. I even asked my friends abroad to help me but until now got no feedback yet. Also searched it in the net, lime wire, multiply and etc. but only found histrionics. I have a tape but it won’t play anymore :-( Anyways, if you have mp3s(coz i know a CD is too much to ask for) of any Popsicle songs, kindly send it to me at florainea@gmail.com and I’d be indebted to you for life.

hey, i got one of their albums but i need a copy of abstinence (what i have is the one with hey princess..) popsicle is the greatest band ever! i ordered their cd direct from sweden. if you got any of their albums, we could probably work out something if you are still interested…

@mangz74: i only have a cassette of abstinence :-( but it's in a sorry state right now. somebody gave me mp3s though of histrionics,not forever, sunkissed and hey princess. if you'd be so kind, you can upload your cd and share :-)

i have a CD of abstinence. and cassettes (recorded lang kaso) of lacquer, stand up and testify, and the one with the “not forever” that unfortunately got lost (stolen is more like it) via Fed Ex.

Floraine, sa mininova.org merong torrent ng Popsicle! 3 albums yun, Popsicle, Lacquer, at Abstinence. Katatapos ko nga lang i-download eh hehe! Di ko makapaniwala may fans din pala ang Popsicle sa Pinas, akala ko kasi ako lang mag-isa eh! They were famous ( atleast for me ) way back in the mid-90s dahil sa Histrionics which was a hit here di ba? Tapos nun binili ko na yung tape ng Abstinence then yung sumunod nga, self-titled album. Wala nga lang ako ng Stand UP and tEstify. Baka pwede naman makahingi sa into ng mp3 nun. Paki-send na lang sa obeys_creek@yahoo.com. Thanks sa inyong lahat! hello guys…. im a big fan of Popsicle… we play there music at our station… before…. i have 2 albums from them, self titled “Popsicle” and the Box set CD “Good Side Of: ” even though they disband their my all time favorite band….

any update on this?
i have been trying for the past 2 years to get torrents of their albums but got nothing. and now that mininova lost the case, they’re forever gone (but not forever???:D).
also andreas went solo but the music still sounds like popsicle minus the riffs.
still lovable.
