forgetting birthdays

I’m giving you an hour to greet me a happy bday

 

That’s the message I got from my friend Nyaw at 11:00 pm yesterday. I forgot to greet her so I immediately called her up. If it’s any consolation to her, she wasn’t the only one I forgot to greet this year. I almost forgot to greet my mom. Forgetting b-days is very unlike me. I try to make my friends and loved one feel special on their bdays. I’m usually the very first to greet my friends. I would wait till 11:55pm on the day before their bday so I can greet them at exactly 12:00 midnight. It’s just that I changed phones last November and was not able to update the bdays on my new phone. Back to my friend, I think she got a bit offended so I’m thinking of ways to make it up with her. I’m thinking of the best gift that I could give her. She’s always complaining about her nose. So, I thought that if only rhinoplasty in Beverly Hills is available here, I’d pay for her service. Many celebrities got their nose done there coz of the excellent services they offer. If only. . . but oh well I guess we’ll just have to make do with a box of nicely wrapped Boy bawang. I know she’ll love it.

Speaking of bdays, I’d just like to remind my friends that my birthday is near and fast approaching (December 14). It comes before Xmas so think of my Bday gift first before my Xmas gift. Don’t commit the same mistake that I did and kindly update my b-day on your cellphones or calendars or organizers LOLS
