Crime Scene Puzzle
January 4, 2007Leigh forwarded this puzzle to me. I just find the answers of my friends amusing and this puzzle challenging esp. since I was not able to answer it…me who’s a self proclaimed modern day Nancy Drew…grrr…
Crime scene: In a condo unit, a dead man with a gun in one of his hands and a recorder on the other. A gunshot through his head. No sign of violence. The detective in charge took the recorder and played it " I am tired of my life.. I wanna die!" *gunshot* The detective askd "Is this his voice?" The deadman’s roommate replied "yes" The detective said " we must find the murderer"
How did the detectvie know it was murder not suicide?
What’s your answer? or any Wild guess?
Just kiddding about the Rhinoplasty thingy though i’m sure some wouldn’t mind having that for free.Back to the puzzle,my answer was “because the gunshot was heard in the recording”. I mean the victim would’ve had let go of the recorder upon pulling the trigger so somebody must have held it for him. Or

Neol: the detective killed the man
Mia: ikaw ang killer?
Pusa: sirit!
Jong/Poy: something to do with the recorder
Jae: give me a week(you’re excused…I’m giving out the answer hehehe)
NObody got the answer correctly.And the answer is:
Coz somebody already rewound the recorder. The detective took the recorder and played it.
And here comes some violent reaction:
Me: Ngek.Corny. May gumagamit pa ba ng tape na kailangan irewind? Lowtech!
Pusa: baka long press? Baka may nauna nang detective na nagrewind nung recorder…paimpress siya kc boss nya yung detective na nagplay nung recorder
Neil: Baka friend nya ang nagrewind?

Who gave you that answer? Baloney! It’s possible that somebody rewound the recorder for the detective to immediately hear the recording. So that answer is simply UNACCEPTABLE.
Here’s mine:
The dead man’s a left-handed professional shooter. Friends who go with him at the shooting range know this fact. But at the crime scene, the gun was found in his right hand. Someone shot him after he talked on the recorder. And since he’s a southpaw, he must have held the recorder using his left hand and the murderer just planted the gun in his right hand. Huli!

Geez, abaniko’s details made it more complicated. The answer is simply on the rewinding. Hello?

yes it is simply because of the redorder has been rewound.
basically, pag realtime mo nirecord yung message na iyon at magbabaril ka ng sarili mo, hindi mo na dapat mapepress ang STOP record and the tape will go record until it stop. So therefore may nag rewound na ng recorder.

ang bobo naman ng murderer na yan! may parecorecorder pang nalalaman eh nung nirewind nya yung recorder di ba nya naisip na patay na at di na makapagrerewind ng recorder yung pinatay nya… (haha! pinagbuntunan p yung murderer..)

Sabagay kailangan yung para pampagulo diba?
