i heart PPP
June 4, 2007The moment my blog turned 1 last March I thought hard what I’ll do about it. After hearing a lot of bloggers who monetized their blogs I decided to give it a try. After asking a couple of blogfriends and searching the net, I found PayPerPost. After reading good things about PPP and learning more about it I didn’t hesitate to sign up for it last April. PPP is a blog advertiser who opens opportunity for both advertisers and bloggers. It allows the advertisers to get blog reviews about their product or service by registered bloggers. What I love about PPP are the ff:
1. Flexibility in time and topic
You can write without pressure unlike some competitors where you are required to make post with specific deadlines. You can write at your own pace and write as many as 3 post a day depending on you.
You get to choose about what you’ll post about. I personally choose topics which I can relate to so it makes it easier for me to write. You can choose from a wide range of topics. The requirements are very easy to satisfy.
2. Credits
You get the credit for your post and not be a ghost writer like this site I almost signed up for.
3. Friendly Neighbors
I am quite thankful that fellow Posties like Carey were very supportive of me on my queries about PPP. Aside from that I was very happy to see comments in my post from netizens who got here through searches and found my post helpful.
Since then I’ve written 6 post and have made 63.50 USD. I only wrote a few post because I wanted to make sure first that I’ll be compensated and I WAS :-) will use this money to help support in my pursuit of Masteral degrees. I plan to write as many post as my schedule will allow. I am highly encouraging other bloggers to sign up for PPP. It would bring your blogging experience to a whole new level and as I’ll say again, be paid to do something you love.

Janice, one of my bestfriends since Highschool have started her online shop on designing invitations. She is now based in Arizona and has always been very creative. She would give us personalized stuffs like cards and calendars as gift and at one time even designed my very first website which was geocities way back then. Anyways, this busines started as a hobby and was seen as an opportunity not just to make money but also help out busy parents out there to prepare invitations for their kids.Janice with the help of her husband Karl and inspiration from her first born Kaden makes wonderful costumized photo cards. These cards are ideal for birth invites and annnouncements and they cater to all kind of ages. You can choose from their various custom made designs or send pictures and they'll work around it.(Photo above is a sample of her designs) They also make non-photo cards depending on the clients need. You can check out their site and blog for more details. You can also leave comments on this post for any queries or directly contact her (email add:janice@photomilk.com).
My friend's new venture has inspired me to pursue the things I love doing.Good luck Jan!
